Default 265/70/17s, Again

I know this has been out here but can't find the thread so, I'll ask again. Will 265/70/17s fit a stock 4X4 Dak without rub? The selection of tires and prices are better in the 70 series than the 65 series. The tire store will mount and test a 70 but seems like alot of work if someone else has experience with this.
Thanks....

They will probably rub a tad. The 265/70-17s are about the same size as the 265/75/16s. The 16s are abit bigger and they rub slightly. Donkeypunch just but the 265/75-16s on his truck and isnt havent any big probs jus the slight rub. Hope that helps

Heres a good comparing calculator, http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

Feel lucky, check out the prices on the 18s

I have 265/75/16's on mine and they rub a tiny bit when the wheels are turned just right, it's rubbing on the inside of the wheel well on that faux mud flap piece, honestly not bad enough for me to bother doing anything about it, only happens at just the right angle. I do have the TM leveling kit though.

I have 265/75 R16s and they Don't rub at all. I also have th base ST wheels, which are 16x7s. Any other upgraded 16" or 17" wheel is 16x8 or17x8. I guess I just squeeze by because of that.

They are a good size for this truck. 265/70 r17 is slightly shorter then the 265/75 r16 though, so it may not rub.
