I would imagine they would do it by drop spindles, coils, and rear springs

If it were me, I would measure my basic coil dimensions. Then find spring height weighted and unweighted. You may even find the weight at each corner of the tire. You should be able to take that information and find a spring already manufactured and work with a sales rep to find one that should fit your app. Even though I don't want to lower my 4x4, I thought about going through the work and making a kit to sell on ebay. But I probably won't and figured I'd share a good way to go over cutting the stock springs.

BTW, a close to accurate way to measure weight at each tire is to use some basic physics.
1)Measure tire PSI
2)Measure tire contact surface (drive over paper/cardboard/etc and trace outline then measure square)
3)Then plug into Force (weight in lbs) = Tire Pressure (PSI) / Tire Contact Area (in^2)

It'd be a lot of work up front. Check total compression of strut to make sure you wouldn't bottom out the strut.

The rear you could have someone like Alcon make you leafs. I'm sure the 2nd gen to 3rd gen may not have changed the rear springs. If not you could use leafs from their drop kit.
