Yup they do make them for a dakota, http://www.autoanything.com/tonneau-...0A50299A1.aspx I just selected 06, but any 05-07 will work

Heres what the extang one looks like on a ram, I know its not a dakota but it'll give ya an idea

The lowering shackles is probablly a good idea, I dont think it would spend your entire $350, you should get a set of Rancho rear shocks to use up the rest of the $, as long as your going to be working back there anyway.

i would spend it on more power... exhaust, CAI, programmer or just plain save it, money doesnt grow on trees! LOL

sweet guys thanks ..i think i might do lowering shackles and the shocks ..that seems like a good idea
