Hey, I can't force it on the guy. He can only go by what he knows. What I do know is that when I took the chip out and drove the truck to the dealership to trade it in I had no idea what truck I was driving because it wasn't the beast that I was used to. Definitely gives it bigger nuts. With the exhaust and the K&N it sounded downright nasty. Whoever gets that truck is going to get a nice one. I'll miss her but I think I'm in love with the Lancer. The CVT transmission is absolutely incredible! I'll stop now.

e I'm just not used to a chip vs. tuners. What exactly does it change? I know it maybe advances the timing a little to dump in more fuel but other than that I don't know.

nah not a power wire.. the chip def changed shift points.. it does get a little bit more roar outta of it.. but overall i never really saw a huge difference which 20 hp should be...

well if it is good for 20, its only at the crank anyway. And since the TCM is seperate from the PCM where the jet plugs in, I highly doubt it changes the shift points. I think Your referring to the little more power you get high in the rpm band right before it shifts

I had the jet 2, sold it cuz I was in Cali and couldnt keep payin the 3.80 gas. But even with all the push-pull feedback I heard about it I loved it when I had it. I felt the biggest difference when I took it out, my truck was sluggish again
