Ok, so I think I got most of it down. My question is that I also bought a sending unit (http://store.summitracing.com/partde...art=SUM-890017) to use as my thermostat intead of the probe type that comes with the Flexalite Black Magic 180 fan I ordered. So can someone help me out with how I wire the sender to the fan control module to make this work?

I don't think that will work with the standard controller that comes with the 180 extreme. The probe is a capillary type temperature sensor so I don't believe there is anyplace to run a wire from the sending unit you bought to the controller. As we speak, I'm getting ready to install A VSC for the 180 extreme that has a sending unit that reads actual water temp as opposed to the probe type that fits in the radiator fins. Got it at Jegs. http://www.jegs.com/i/Flex-a-lite/400/31163/10002/-1
