So, I am debating buying a new set of wheels, and putting the tires that come with them on my stock wheels for winter...
I can choose a tire between 90-120 each... I am thinking of just making winter tires, since thats what I am going to use the stock wheels for...
so that said, whats a decent winter tire in that price range? I have seen firestone winterforce tires go for around 99...

i have cooper ASTs on (technically all weather tires) they are AWESOME in the snow i have never had a problem and i go looking for it when it snows
and my parents have been using these tires for years at least since i can remeber (my moms 94 oldsmobile bravada) and we have never complained i think they cost abou 90 a piece normally but we get a deal bc my grandpa knows a guy
and we get free mounting too

Right on... my daytons are a nice all weather tire too. But I am thinkning that since these are going to be my winter wheels, I might as well put a real winter tire on them...
Someone today at work said something about glacier grips or something... anyone know who makes them? and what about Blizzaks (sp?) thats what the police around here supposedly use...

Dak attack!
My current tires did very good in the snow on the gmc I was using while mine was all messed up, we sold that truck so I swapped tires with it. Haven't been through a winter with them on the Dak yet though. All Country Radial LXT's.
