Is it some sort of Ram Air setup or just a intake box? If its some type of intake box, why not just make a FIPK by using the sheet metal and a a conical filter?

Dude, I been tossing ideas around for my truck...you may have to glass for me since you say you are the pro

I still have to figure out the dimensions of the airbox and what filter will fit best/flow best.

I also have to figure out a way to keep the motor from sucking in water/snow/whatever else is out on the road...
Maybe take and shorten the tube alittle pushing the box back and create a square funnel style piece with some sort of drip edge on it to collect or hinder water from laying on the filter...you know what I mean?

eric has girly handwriting...

and methinks, it's a box that'll connect under the scoop, and the pipe allows cold air to go to the filter...
