Thanks!

Yep....it's a TruXport. Least expensive cover yet (of all my Dakotas) and I like it the most. I'll post pics of the Rhino Liner & Bed Rug soon....we're getting hit hard with snow this week.

Do you have the V6 or the V8? I don't see a V8 badge on the tailgate in the pics. How does the V6 perform in the Quad Cab? I'm sure the 3.92 gears help a lot.

Yeah it's the V6. I would have prefered the 4.7, especially since the 4.7 gets better mpg than the 3.7 (go figure????) but wanted specific options & color, and could not find it in the V8. I've only got 400 miles on it, and getting 18+ mpg, which is respectable, and will get better. It will definitely tow my toys, and it definitely has all the power I need. Still would have preferred the 4.7 for those "what if" situations. With that said, this V6 feels stronger AND faster than the 4.7 in my 05 Club Cab. The 05 was MUSHY feeling and lacked power (IMO).

Yeah, I like the power and the sound I have right now... Of course I went from the ol 3.9 to the 4.7 so it was a nice upgrade in every aspect

Thanks for the reply about the v6, TRX. Sorry about all the questions. The '08 I'm looking at is the same configuration as yours...Quad cab, 4x4, v6. That's why I was asking. I'm in the same boat as you...cannot find specific options/colors with the 4.7. Test drove it yesterday. Rides much better than my '06. Seems like they've cured the suspension issues.

Flamered- No problem.
I'd say that with the incentives on these things right now, you can't go wrong. They are everywhere at 18K to 22K loaded, but then again, the full size 1500's are in the same range and mighty tempting. I do like the sporty look of the Dak's better, and climbing in & out of a full size was another factor. In the end, the V6 is all I really need, the price was right, and I've been in Dakotas since 99, with a new one every 3 years.
