I might send them an email and tell them I really want to purchase one but I am hesitant due to all the complaints I have read on the internet

Eric, the Cortex does support our trucks, a guy on another board has one on an 06 Dak (I think that's the year) thand SC site states RAM 4.7.

Coon, do you have the resistor installed with your shift kit? Transgo says do not install with a programmer, what is the shifting like?

Thanks,
LB

Quick question: Once you use the tuner on your truck it becomes locked to that VIN correct? Subsequently, if you purchase it used it may not work if it has been used?

Thanks.

i am great with tools. sledge hammer and a crow bar, sometimes even a pair of pliers, why do you ask. duct tape and zip ties also. mine is not vin locked its nothing. last time i went to upload it it, it said failure to upload, but it had no problems at failure to launch when it landed in the middle of the road.
