Rear Brake issue
2005 Quad ab SLT 4.7L mag 4X4 3:92 gears.
Dealer replaced R/Rear Emergency brake cable, and rear stabilizer bushings. The next day every time I applied the brakes the rear brakes would have a shimmy to them between 30 and 20 mph during braking. I confirmed it was the rear brakes by appling the E/brake.
I returned to the dealer, they claimed they over adjusted the brakes( to close to the drum). They properly adjusted the rear brakes and sent me on my way. After a week the problem returned but only after the brakes are good and warmed up.
Returned to the dealer, they replaced R/Rear shock. Problem still there, they resurfaced the rear drums. The problem has gone away, but after three weeks now it returns at times. This time however the problem only seems to happen when the brakes are nice and cool.Any ideas?

sounds to me that the shoes are not seated correctly.try this go in reverse and see if it happens. if so the shoes are messed up. also check the weights on the rims. they may have knocked one off. pull the rim, check the hub, they may have cracked it while trying to get it off. most places, bang the snot out of them to free up the road grime.
I mean, do you regularly set the ebrake when parked after the brakes have heated up? If so, that can cause them to warp as the cool down... at least in the disc brake world.
