If i want to put 285/75r16's on my 05 dakota quad cab will i need to torsion it up or will they fit regular?

 

No, the biggest 16 inch rimmed tires that will fit under the truck are 265/70R 16s without rubbing. Roughly a 31 inch tire will fit without rubbing with a 2in leveling kit. Plus there are no torsions on the 05s and no after market suspension lifts...

No torsion bars...the suspension is sprung with those big black...springs hanging out behind the wheels.

 

I have the TM leveling kit and 265/75/16s. Slight rubbing when turning right, while braking.

 

thanks, i think i will go with a 3 inch body lift kit and then see if they fit , think that will work...or maybe a 2.5 level kit on top of that?

 

Yeah a body lift will get ya the clearance ya need, a couple members have done it, coondog05 is one
