I just bought a set, but I'm not sure how it will work with a stock grill. I want to lay them out horizontally, but the horizontal grill bars are not even an inch thick. Also, every time I need to refresh the black paint, I'd have to mask the letters. I think a detachable mounting plate...with screws or zipties...is the ticket. I'll figure it out once I get the letters and the white stuff is gone.

 

yeah that's the exct same auction I have in my watch list haha...maybe after Christmas and new years i'll place an order and git r going. I'd like to do a quick photoshop of it though before I buy.

Anyone have any pics of a Dak with either of the 2 grills? I was looking at these before but wasnt sure exactly what it would look like on my Dak.

 

That chop looks good, but I'd spread the letters out more.

I thought about the black grille but thats as far as it went

 

I still think the cutout for the hood latch kills it, they should have not had the cutout and included a small kit to allow you to open the latch from the bottom, it's not hard to do.
