another question, black? red? and white with green strip?, which wire does the resistor go on, tried to hook it up LED's but not getting anywhere and I tried all three wires got the same response, light comes on but does not light up for brake or blinker, using the same resistor suggested above. my truck thinks there's a burnt out bulb.

This is the reistor I have
6 OHM 50W 2 BULB LED LOAD RESISTORS TURN SIGNAL BLINKER FIX 7443 7440 3157 1156 1157

Do I also need this to fix the problem?
LED BULB OUT WARNING FIX 25 OHM LOAD RESISTOR KIT
