Just ordered the Superchips tuner
Wow, how many hours of dyno time (with their tuner) do you get for that? That must be at least 3 hours of dyno time (including cool down). Typically, a dyno shop will be charging around $150/hour for dyno and tuner.
I would imagine that tuning our trucks with a piggy-back would not take 3 hours. I have tuned my (turbo) car with a fully controllable piggy-back on open and closed loop for about 1.5 hours (from the factory map). Granted, this was a conservative tune, however I must have made close to 15 pulls on the dyno with some cool down time.
Even if the customer had to create 2 seperate maps (one for street, one for race/nitrous/boost tune) I would guess at most 2 hours of dyno time (from the factory map).
