Sounds like the upper limit, but a decent deal. I have 140 some in my exhaust which is new aluminized pipe from the y back and a cherry bomb pro muffler.
most likely he will do what i had done. where the y meets cut that off and put a larger coupling on. thats all, you dont need to change out the piping.
its worth every penny... its a good hour+ job to do right and you will be shocked at the results as well! a stainless magnaflow is your best bet but there are cheaper metal ones...
I already have the Cat Back Flowmaster. I believe all he is doing is putting in a Y pipe and removing the resonator. I'm going to look at it on Monday and make sure it is what I want. It will be the same size.
all hes doing.....? its not that simple of a job.... its up over a crossmemember and close to one of the cats... its not easy to get a nice weld all the way around the bigger y pipe! just because a plain jane exhaust job only costs 150 or so, dosent mean what hes doing for you is a little job... if you dont feel its not worth it, take a sawzall like i did and start hackin away.... then bring it to him after your totally frustrated (and bloody) hahaha... just my opinion.....
oh... and the stainless magnaflow is an aftermarket y-pipe that i was referring to! not a muffler....look under your pail and then look at one of these y-pipes and youll see what im talking about
