3k & the wait is over (warranty)! MOD TIME!
When you say, "My trucks smooth ride" are you talking about the back and forth motion after you hit a bump or overall ride? If you want to get rid of the bouncy motion after hitting a hole or bump you need to consider Ranchos RSS 5000 shocks all around. They are the best option I have installed on my Dak. Still rides smooth but has completely done away with the rocking horse motion.
Yup, still same number. There's only two kinds of shocks that fit our front end right now anyway, the previously mentioned Ranchos and Monroe sensatracs. Assuming those are still the only options when I do mine I'll be going with the Ranchos.
Gotcha, just wasn't sure if the 2" to the front that makes it even with the rear would actually mean I should order 4 rear shocks. I didn't know if the shocks go off of length or the type connection, or etc.

By lifting the truck, you are increasing aerodynamic drag. this will not help keep MPG the same...
Also, from what I am seeing... why the thermostat?
If you went with a chip, I could see it. But the power wire alone isnt a real reason.
Not that the 6 bucks is a big deal, but I am just wondering why it made the list and not an E-Fan or Y pipe.

Rancho shocks are a great mod, probably the best in my opinion. For the HO engine, do NGK Iridium Plugs (HO is designated with a J in the VIN) not the Autolite 3923's. I and a few others have had both. The HO's don't like the 3923's so much.
Niether did my '07 4.7L Magnum. The 3923's were OK for about 2,000 and then they just sucked; no power and the idle was no better than stock. I went with the Iridiums as well in mine and they are fantastic.
my Autolites are fine never had a problem and have had them in quite some time now.... i will be changing soon when i do Nos.. but other then that the 10 dollar plugs were great!

I don't know much about Y-Pipes or that an e-fan would any better than the thermostat and for more $$.
Thoughts?

well, I wasnt knocking it... its a good idea. But the E-fan is probably the single best thing you could do to free up power and MPGs... I have mine waiting for warm weather to go on...
The Y pipe has been said to be the most restrictive component in our exhaust systems from the factory... so getting that worked out would in theory, would help with mid range power...
