I keep my ball hitch attached as good insurance against bumber damage. In my Ranger I was rear-ended 3 times, resulting in 3 holes in the offending vehicles front bumper. No damage to mine.

Default Pics now here...

Some shots, it doesnt look bad, but you should see the other car. Its a write off...

All in all $2000 in damages. No one else yet has filed a claim yet, so the insurance company has sent out their dogs to find them. Truck can get in the shop on the 16th and we will have a free rental under our insurance (for now until they get ahold of the other parties and can bill them)

As for her its now one week for sure off work (Drs orders) so there should be some sort of settlement. We luck out that she has a family member that works as an adjuster for the insurance company (only one company here in BC)

Appreciate the kind words guys it does help. Anything bad I said about the truck I take back its one tough SOB. That was quite a licking it took and its still going...

I got rear ended in a Toyota Celica GTS, it was in good shape, but whatever you happen to be in, it sucks if they don't have insurance like those that hit me. I heard a song on Bob & Tom this morning might describe your mood "it's a great day, to woop somebody's ***"

Yes they do hold up pretty good...

This was from a F150 at about 20-25mph, did 5k in damages but still held up

I think Altairs by far was the worst one I seen, and I am surprised how well it did, and turned out in the end.
