I know, I know... the rust is getting sanded and touched up. I am leaning toward painting the cross bar black and the radiator black...
I am debating painting the grill mesh white... the silver looks ok though.

Well, its not that hard to do really... it just takes time.
1. Get your keys.
2. drive to home depot.
3. got to the section that has the metal gutters and sheet metal.
4. Find the "hinged gutter guards"
They look like this.

5. Grab a few. It takes 2 to do the grill, but if you screw up a cut, theres not much room for error.
6. go to the paint area and find some 5 minute epoxy that will bond to plastic and metal.
7. If you dont have a pair of tin snips, they will be handy.
8. Pay for it.
your reciept will look a lot like this...

9. Drive home
10. take off grill.
11. take out grill insert.
12. bring to a comfortable work place.
13. set the mesh on and cut a rough size.
14. start cutting so they will fit and look right.
15. epoxy them to the grill.
16. put it back together.
plan on it taking about 3 or 4 hours from start to finish. the epoxy takes some time to set up, so plan on holding the mesh in place for a while...

Eric, what you need to do is get the mesh powder coated. This way, the on-coming roost from vehicles in front of you don't give you the speckeled paint look.
I have thought about doing this for the Dak as well, I used the same stuff for my "headlight/intake" mod on the talon. At first, it left some rust stains on the inside of the headlamp housing...then I took it to our powdercoaters and had them coat it "almost chrome". Problem solved. View picture...
