Exclamation Trailmaster Lift Kit

I got my new Trailmaster Lift, using the 2" p/n I got off of one of the these threads, in today. I open it up to see it say it is a 1.25" spacer and the only thing that came in the kit were two spacers. No bolts, no gaskets, etc, etc. Does this sound right?

if the spacer goes inside the strut you'll need a good strut compressor to get the plate back on. take it to a shop with a wall compressor.

you can get the plate off.

tip: squirt the nut at the top of the shock with wd-40. mine was rusted on and i sheared the the threaded rod. then had to wait for new shocks.

1.25" will provide 2.0" of lift. So that seems like the right spacer. I wouldn't mess with that strut plate nut either. Have a shop do it.

I have a TM above the strut spacer kit & I am thinking about making any necessary changes to it so that I can mount it inside the strut. Does anyone know what those may be? I wonder if I should just call TM & see if I can exchange it, except that I've had the kit for a year while saving for wheels & tires...

It's the same spacer, just install it in the shock instead of on top. Mine came with bolts as well but TM said just install using the new directions, discard the bolts.

I have new one of these if anyone needs one?

Has the bolts needed and even some Loctite.

It is the PA kit, and IIRC is the same as the TM kit.
