Also your right about the key fob, pretty much everything lights up even the cargo lamp, the cago lamp is also on a 20 minute timer so I should hook it up and If I forget to turn it off oh well it'll turn off in a matter of mins.

I have a conection @ NAPA I don't if anybody's heard of them but there a discount auto parts store, anyway I get things for cost so the light bars I'm looking at are really cheap they come in 2 bars @ 57" long.I figure one bar on each side I think it'll be good for a Quad cab.

DIdnt you want the lights to come on when the doors open after you have reached your destination? The cargo lamp does not turn on when you open the doors.

I for cargo...

If you need the extra light when you get out, just press the unlock button on the key fob...

You really wouldn't want the lights coming on EVERYTIME you opened the doors... that would cause premature failure...

Ya follow me?

I agree with Frenchy Cargo. My opinion is you have better control over them.

I'm for the cargo also. If you wanted to tie into the cargo lights where would you do that at? I've go some LED light strips I'm putting in the bed so I can see in there at night with the cover on.
