Thumbs up What eles do you do with your Dak?

What other hobbies do you Guy's do with your Daks?
Is it just a work horse, tow a work trailer use it to transport dirt bike, sleds, jet skis, boat or tow a camper?

I'll take my truck out 5-7 miles on the beach to fish for Stripedbass I mostly fish before work,I also tow our 28' tow behind we camp all over the North East some as close as 12 miles and some as far as 230.We'll start Memorial day and or last rip is Vetrans day in November.
Other than that my truck sits in my Driveway Monday thru Friday,I don't put many miles on it since I have a Company truck that I drive all week the wife don't drive it she has a 06 Tahoe.

I work for an event rental and production company. My Dak almost always has a road case in the back. I also occasionally tow a 5000lb 70KW Diesel Generator, or a 6000lb off-road fork lift. It also pulls an 18' Triton aluminum boat. Does much better than the Ranger did. The fork lift was too much for it, but it always did the job. The Dak just doesn't seem to care what it pulls.

Mine see's the dailey driver scale, and some off-roading here in colorado quite often. I have been waiting for the trails to open to get some wheeling in this year. Also, I have towed over 6,000lbs with the 3.7L V-6 for over 60 miles on a roller coaster-like highway a few times.

My trailer weighs only 4,450 and never took it to be weighed when paked for a weeks trip,How did it handle with the weight over 6K plus having a 3.7 I'll bet those roads you have out there can be pretty sporty.

mprohr do you use a electric brake? That's some pretty tough towing weight,I'll bet it proformed better than the Ranger.

I do absolutely nothing with my truck but drive it and make my friends and coworkers, and random ppl I meet jealous lol, for not having done alot to my truck... atleast nothing terribly expensive... just alot of little things I get lots of compliments

Edit: this truck is my daily driver and I love her.. hopefully will be posting updated pics when I get her back from the dealership lots of mods since the signature was made...

Don't mean to hijack thread but I have a quick question for superdak05, if you have an SLT why do you have the ST front bumper with the Laramie or dodge accessorie chrome strip...??

Curtiplas the '05 SLT owners got gipped on the front bumper, they all came like that. Mine cracked in the rollover so I replaced it with a painted one. 06+ SLT got the painted bumper stock.

Mine's my DD, occasionally tow something with it.

Well let's see. In addition to being my daily driver I also use it for hunting. A couple weekends a month I pull various toys up to the lake (sleds, quads, boats, etc). I use it to pull around all the **** for building my house. It has carried the majority of the material that wasn't delivered by the company for the house. I've used it for most of the landscaping stuff. So if you can think of it I've probably done it with my truck. Also it's a full-size truck *** kicker...lol.
