and thats after we bent the bumper out from around the tire,,the tire took most of the impact thank god..because the size of this bear.if it would have hit dead on it would have been worse

When you first said you hit a bear I was thinking grizzly for some reason, was expecting to see the front end smashed. Still sucks but glad the damage wasn't too bad.

yeah it only weigh about 300 to 350lbs.black bear.like i mention the rim took most of the impact,im just looking for a new bumper now

well i found a bumper on ebay,everybody else was wanting 150-200 to ship it plus the price of the bumper,ebay will do

my buddy i work with was way up north on a fishing trip, driving to the landing, they were video taping the scenery and stuff, never saw the moose walk out into the road, wanna talk about totaled. they have still pics of the accident also. the moose stood several feet over the roof of the truck. they were driving a newer jeep grand cheeroke.
