Default Headlight

Driver's side low-beam is out. Hi-beam still works. However, the left turn signal doesn't blink double-time like it did when I had a bad connection once (passenger side), and there aren't any unexpected chimes when the truck fires up.

For the price of a bulb I'll just pick one up and install it, but I'm suprised the truck doesn't know it's not working. Any thoughts?

This happened to me, the low beam didn't work but high beam did. I took the headlight out and squeezed the connectors together, thinking it might be a loose connection- it was. I used two zip ties to keep the connectors tightly closed, haven't had any problems with it for 6 months. I would just swap out the driver's side bulb with the passengers and see if it works. They say to be careful and try not to touch the actual bulb because the oil on your fingers will shorten the bulb's lifespan.

An OEM replacement bulb was $16, but before I open the pack I'm going to swap left-to right and see what happens.

Not right now though...an April cold snap has the temp at about 30 right now in CNY. I though I'd seen the last of snow for this year.

Interesting, but it looks like Dodge fixed this for 2007. I'll know more when I swap bulbs.
