what are the best performance mods for a 06 3.7

If you have a 2wd, it would be the most cost effective to do gearing.

I wouldn't do to much more then that....maybe a TB, intake, exhuast. I would probablly stop there.

The truck is just too heavy for the V6.

Power wire is good. Electric fan will help too.

I was talking to the owner of SECO performance parts down here. He said that he's some a few dak owners swap out TBs and E-Fans and get nothing but problems and the engine light. He also said that it messes with the computer. Any truth to this?

not one bit. the tb will allow more into the engine, giving it a little more power, e-fan will also free up power. if the e-fan is not wired up correctly it will throw codes

i have a K&N intake and a jet stage one chip. they are nice add-ons for sure both increased the power and mileage.and the flowmaster gives it a decent growl for a v6.
