Default Grill guard installed with pics

Ok, got the guard installed. Went with polished stainless. Can't say I'm liking it. Might take some getting used to. Looks better in pics than in person. No matter what I do to this truck, I'm not liking it.

Anyway, just a thought.... if I was to get rid of the guard would anyone be interested at $400. Would probably have to pick it up, as shipping on these things is rediculous. It is one piece.

I personally for myself would have stuck with a westin bull bar....
but i feel your brush guard can work solely because of your rugged tires, side steps and fender flares...it can be pulled off for the off road look lol....

but ugh dude whats going on with you not liking what youve done to your truck!??!?! first the tail covers, then the vent visors, now this lolololololl
If anything spend money on a hypertech programmer! luckily they're out for you 08' guys... thats one thing even im sure you wont be disappointed in lol...+47 HP!!

Good luck with anything else you do bro!!

Yeah I know.... but it's only money, right. I build custom bikes for a living. I have an exceptional eye for the most miniscule detail. Every bike I build is in my head, and they turn out EXACTLY as I want. I picture the truck in my head, but nothing flows. Maybe I can just drop a tree on it and start over. I do need to cut some firewood..... I hope the truck isn't in the way!

IMO what you may be not liking is the contrast between the grill and headlight surrounds, and the guard. The silver is just close enough to the color of the chrome but it's not the same finish at all. I think if the headlight surrounds matched the color of the truck and the grill either matched or was chrome you'd like the guard better. That's just me though

First of all, those 3-spoke wheels are growing on me. Second, your truck is bad *** period.

The grill guard is a bit big, but here is the real problem. The silver front grill needs to be body colored, and everything that is chrome needs to be black, except for your wheels and exhaust tips. IMO. That said, its still a really nice truck.

Did you have to lose your tow hooks for the install?
