Correct me if I am wrong, but the wheel well on the driver's side doesn't really protect the shaft and knucle at all, right?

I feel like when I squat down to put air in my tires I can see the shaft as plain as day. Maybe it's getting sprayed all day long, and then the winter and the salt.

That plus the heat from the exhaust manifold doesn't help either.

I poped my head under the hood, did it really take 45 min to remove???? it doesn't look that hard?!?!

Would a steering brace be helpful too????

Just hit 100K on my '05, time to replace the intermediate shaft it's been clunking for a while.

Check out http://www.mopar-wholesale.com/dodge-dakota-parts $189 plus shipping for OEM from a dodge dealer!

I think I am going to get a serpentine belt and rad hoses OEM as well, cheaper than advance auto and 7 years 100K they still look good!
