I don't usually like to suggest alternate places to shop because everyone has their favorites. But, I took a chance and ordered some speakers for my Jeep from this place: http://www.sonicelectronix.com
I usually order from Crutchfield but found the speakers I wanted at a much lower price. Anyway, I got them damn fast. And most people seem to be quite pleased with their service and shipping.
When I put an amp and sub in my Dakota I'll be using them. Crutchfield has the shallow mount Pioneer at $199. Sonic has it for $99. That's a big enough price difference for me.
Crap, all that sounds like an add. But seriously, look at the site. They have a lot of subs (and other car audio stuff).

I thinking about going with the 8'' shallow mount pioneer or the 10'' Elemet Design shallow mount sub.
I dunno what speakers to get yet.
