Tires with TM kit???
Sorry I hate posting a thread that's always talked about. But I only need responses from ones that have already did the TM kit and new tires. What tires size did you use and I don't care if it rubs a little...at least at full turn?
Tire guy thinks I can get away with 285s didn't say if it was 285/65R17 (31.58x11.22) or 285/70R17(32.77x11.22)...
I'll be sticking with the stock 17s.

This has been touched on a million times lol. Its ok though..
With the TM kit you would want to run 265/75 R16, or if you have the 17" rim, 265/70 R17. Thats roughly a little under a 32" tire. The tire looks big, even with the TM kit, but you shouldnt rub with the kit installed.
Re-gearing to change from a tire thats a few inches bigger isnt necessary, if your speedometer being correct is important to you, Dodge dealers can recalibrate the speedo/odo for like $50, and 30min of your time. (i had mine done)

I'm running 265/75R16 with minimal rub, the equivalent to that is 265/70R16 which is 31.65" overall diameter or so, 10.43" width. I don't know about 285's, the extra width might get you a lot more rubbing, won't hurt to try if he'll let you swap to a different tire if it rubs bad.
