After I bought the truck I noticed that it didn't have tow hooks in the front. I figured I could just buy some and install them at a later date. No big deal.

Now that I've been thinking about it again I decided to see what it would take to add them. Well, apparently the front bumper does not have any holes/slots where they would normally go. WTH!? I don't want to cut holes because it won't look good and I really don't want to buy another front bumper.

Aren't SLT's supposed to have slots in the front bumper where the tow hooks would go? What model Dakota doesn't have the slots for tow hooks? I really should have went for the TRX instead of this SLT.

 

That's interesting because the 05-07 models had the slots whether you had the hooks or not. They must have changed that with the new front look.

 

Heck, I put a bull bar on mine and now I can't use the tow hooks!!!!
