If you're not gonna change out the Y pipe, just get a flowmaster, cherry bomb, etc muffler and have a shop weld it in and run new pipe afterwards. As for the K&N, check out chromeintakes company from ebay. It'll run ya about $45 or so.

I would have my own catback system made custom, the pre fab systems are pricey.

As far as makng your own intake, some have done it getting a chrome intake pipe and buying a KN conefilter and its practically the same. Good luck and keep us informed

Thanks for the comments.

Does anyone know what size muffler i should buy. It would save me time on measureing the pipe .

What is a choke master ?

I have a welder so i can do the work myself on the exhaust. Anyone have any part numbers for mufflers that you heard so i can go check them out.\
Yeah i know the kits are expensive but i was trying to avoid hacking up the exhaust.

TJ, I have the Gibson muffler from a Supertruck system for sale. Less than 1,000 miles on it and like new.

3" in and dual 2.5" out

Also have the main pipe from the cat to where the muffler bolts on, also like new.

PM me an offer if you are interested in it. I can take some pics too if you give me and email addy.

I see you are in Philly, we could always meet part way so no shipping charges also.

Stock is 2.5" I went with a 3 from just behind the Y back on my setup.

A chokemaster is what some call the flowmaster.

When I put mine on, I had the exhaust unclamped behind the y and it was pulled in one piece towards the front. The entire system was new from there back, welded at every point except for at the stock pipe. Take note the 07s only have 1 res. and one muffler also
