I got it in '07, my grandfather bought it as a leftover in '06. He never mentioned any stalling.

Digging this back up.

What did you end up going with? I am in the same boat deciding on which one to go with. The feature I noticed that they mention on the Superchips website about the Cortex is the speedometer calibration, which I will need as I plan on getting rid of my 245's once they wear out. I think I may end up going with it because for $50 more, it's worth it for me to get the calibration and added data logging that is not mentioned with the Flashpaq.

Just figured I'd bring this back and see what you ended up doing and how you like whatever you got.

the flashpaq has all of that too,... i could be wrong, but i think the only difference is the cortex just supports more vehicals than the flashpaq

I'm running the 3865 Flashpaq and I have tire size adjustment and the advanced data acquisition package. I'd go for the Flashpaq.

Ok that's good to know. I noticed that the Cortex supported diesels as well, but they make no mention of the data acquisition and tire calibration for the flashpaq.
