Trans temp
My trans temp light has been coming on every now and then the past week. It dont seem to have a pattern, sometimes when I first start the truck and its cold, sometimes driving down the road, but hasent at all yet pulling a trailer. My brothers ram is doing the same thing and we have nothing in common with the trucks. I have a shift kit he dont. I run synthetic he dont. I have a programer he dont. I have a bigger cooler he has the stock one. if I stop and restart the truck it turns off the light but that gets anoying.

is the light accompanied by a CEL?
I dont know if the temp light kicks a code or not, but I am sure you have already checked that...
Since its 2 vehicles doing the same thing with nothing in common, It sounds like an environmental cause... Normally I would say something like has the normal maint. been performed, but I think I know you better than that. (I think, lol)
I guess I would start by seeing if any crazy codes are popping up. It could be a sensor sketching out. but that just doesnt make sense for 2 trucks... hmm...
