It should be common knowledge by now for us to all check out lower ball joints by 50,000 miles if we havn't before. I don't have any front end noise but in the back of my mind I know my lower ball joints have to be going out soon. I would imagine once grease-able moogs are put in, you probably wouldn't have to replace those until the trucks end.
In addition to the ball joints check your sway bar end links. I would lean towards one of those two things before I would start suspecting the tie rod though as a disclaimer my only hands on experience with front suspensions was pulling mine apart and reassembling it once.
