Here is round 2. I made the windows a little darker and the grill/bull bar came out a lot better this time.

Black it out for sure. But if you're going to do it, do it right. Use high quality stuff.

 

i agree with midnight i did my grill half assed(it was in the winter it was cold) and it has tonnes of chips on it

 

WOW!!! 95_318 you did an awesome job and I F***ING love it! I guess I know what I'm doin next on my truck!!! Well now I"m for sure gonna get a quote on powdercoating and see what stuff I can do myself!!! Thanks a bunch 95_318 I owe you one bud!

 

It does indeed look great, but remember, paint vs. black chrome is going to be a big difference.....even bigger then what is in that picture...

 

Oh yea I agree and I think I'll like black paint even better. I mean the black chrome looks good and this gives me a good idea of what the truck will look like if I powdercoat everything black...

Yea I was hoping to powdercoat most of it. I might try the grill myself and possibly the wheels but all of the chrome stuff like the bull bar and runners will get powdercoated for sure. I might send the wheels as well cuz they might be a PITA but I'll have to get a few quotes first. Who knows maybe I'll send the whole thing. And if I go this route I'll definatley be taking off the TRX decals....I think it'll just give it a nice clean look.
