Damn it. Now I want one

I like the fact that it doesn't need permanent installation and it can be folded up. That'll suit my use perfectly. Thanks for the pics and info!

My local craigslist has a barely used bed extender for $95, sounds like the guys trying to rip someone off...

Does it pivot up and down like other extenders?

hey guys check out the link, http://www.usrack.com/versa_gate.php , it tells alot about it, to answer some ? it's not a bench (lol) and no it does not pivot. it's held in with pressure . you can put it any where in the bed. at the front when your not useing it , between the fender wells or at the back as a tailgate.the sides slide in and out and the push rods on the end adjust out to put pressure against where ever you are trying to put it as a bed divider.
this is when it's all slid together

this is it slid out and the top push rods slid out against the sides of the bed to hold it in place

know as a bed extender the sides fold out like arms and are held with the top cables that hook to the tailgate latch points . the back is held in place by the two L shaped brackets that lap over the end of the tailgate. you have to adjust the cables so it fits tight.
