anybody use these before? how well do they work? what uses did you have for them?

 

I've used mine and it works but you've got to measure closely, cut it the maximum length and then round the edges to fit the slot to make it work. The reason is that the "humps" that form the slot are not very large and will allow the 2x6 to slip out if not fitted closely.
