Default Ref radio help!!!!!!

hey guys, i got the ipod integration kit for our trucks. i have the ref radio, single disc no satellite. it came with the box, wires running to the 22pin (radio) and 10pin (satellite/aux), both male and female. i connected the regular 22pin harness into the kit 22pin female and the 22pin kit male into the back of the radio. i dont have satellite so there was nothing to plug into the 10pin female of the kit and i plugged the 10pin male into the back of the radio. i also plugged the right and left rca audio cables into the box which has a run off of power and ground (to charge the ipod) and i connected the actual ipod. i can see the ipod IS charging, and so does the radio, but when i go to AUX on the box to listen to the radio, nothing plays. i do have the headphone jack in front and that usually plays aux. the instructions say after pushing AUX that it will read from the 10pin connector and after a few seconds will say satellite then change to CRYX-IPOD or something. but its not happening. is there anything i have to do to make my radio read satellite or anything?!?! freakin help please im gettin pissed. everything is connected fully and right.

Looking at how it installs I'm sure you did it right, there's not much to screw up there. I did find this on one site selling it:

SOME PEOPLE HAVE REPORTED ISSUES WITH THE LATEST VERSIONS OF THE IPOD INCLUDING IPOD TOUCH AND IPHONE. APPLE IS WORKING ON A FIRMWARE UPDATE. PLEASE CHECK ITUNES REGULARLY.
I'm assuming you already have the instructions but just in case here's a link to the ones I found: http://site.justforjeeps.com/guide/82209617.pdf

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Default REF Radio and Ipod

I have a 2006 Dodge Dakota...

I live in a rural area nd love listening to both my ipod & SAT radio...I would like to install a ipod interface to control the ipod with my radio.

REF radios dont seem to be compatible...with alot of interfaces.

Anyone have one installed?
IF so how they do it..
Easier to jsut get a new radio?..even though i love my factory one.

Thanks
