when I try to turn my 4x4 to 4hi or 4low it doesnt do anything, no light on dash or truck doesnt go into 4x4. Is there a fuse that could have blown? I checked all my fuses and cant find one for the 4x4. Also my dome lights and cargo light dont. work,still cant find a blown fuse

 

pull the dash out and see if its plugged in when i did my sub i forgot to plug it back in maybe its unplugged

 

Almost the same thing happened to me the other day. I was hauling some pea gravel and had to use 4WD to back into my backyard. It wouldn't go into Hi or Lo 4WD. Finally I just kept fiddling with switch and it went in. Of course I was concerned. The next day I went out on a dirt road and finally, (again) got it into 4WD. I drove around in that mode for about 10 miles. Afterwards it would go into and out of 4WD right away. I must admit it had been over a year since I had tried to use 4WD.
