I've already received the muffler. It's a Single 2.5" In/Dual 2.25" Out. In fact, you can see full details at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33636.

Yes, this will be my first Flowmaster, but I already know I'll love it. Yes, I'm definitely removing both resonators. I don't want anything intefering with that Flowmaster sound.

I'm trying to rush through the process of picking my tips, so I can go ahead and have it installed.

On another note, I got my truck back today from the Rhino Linings dealer. I had the bed sprayed, and it looks terrific. I couldn't be more pleased. Pictures will be coming very soon. I just have to give her and bath and take some snapshots.

Well, my exhaust is done. It sounds awesome! I ended up getting some 3" 45 degree slant chome tips coming out under the real bumper. It sounds and looks exactly how I wanted.

Whats the best way of going about finding someone to do this work (replacing the muffler/converting to dual)?
No one I know here in town seems to have anyone who does the work...are there any boards online that list reputable jobs/shops?

Nearly any shop that installs mufflers should be able to do this. It's best to look in the yellow pages for Exhaust or Muffler shops and make some calls. Explain that you want to replace your factory muffler/resonators with a single Flowmaster muffler with dual outs.

Hows the preformance aspect, you loss and low end and gain any? I really want to do this but I want to do a high flow cat and all new piping. Also it it really loud with no resonators, I'm have mixed emotions on keeping them.
