Has any member driven or ridden in a new 2010 4WD Dak'. with the 300 HP engine?? If so, did they address the, "soft" suspension as alleged??

News Flash. The 2010 does have a truly updated suspension. Too bad the sway bar links aren’t re tooled as badly needed. See my post from about a week ago on “Chrysler Media site”. They give you a history of new packages and parts that where changed for the model years. 2010 had a for real suspension update. Shocks and springs by name. Still no rear discs but what the hell for what is said to the Daks last year of life. If I where to be looking for a new Dak this would be the one. It is what it should had been from the get go.

Since the new 2010 4wd dakota is 1'' higher then the 05-08 has anyone taught of swapping out the suspesion. with the 2'' leveling kit and 2inch blocks in the rear you would get a 3-2 lift kit

I don't believe using factory anything compared to 3rd party is the way to go. Even though the factory has now used much improved shocks and springs I’m sure you can get better cheaper replacement parts. Chrysler especially cheeped out anywhere they could. There are so many cases in point. Go Monroe or Rancho and a slight body lift via spacers. I'm sure there are great spring’s replacements too. It makes me ill to see Tacoma pre-runners sitting up tall and stout from the factory when I know Dodge could have done the same for the Dak.
