Question How can I get my car to sound better?

So I'm thinking about changing the sound of my '07 Dakota. I'm kinda tired of it sounding like a fan. I don't know a lot about cars so I'm not sure what to do... My friend told me that I could tweak the exhaust system or the muffler. Any suggestions on what to do?

Listen to sound clips on youtube. Research the one you like best, then go to an exhaust shop and tell them you want that put on.

What exactly would I need to do? Change the muffler or get a whole new exhaust system?
I'm kinda stuck between cherry bomb, flowmaster and magnaflow.

Yea, you definitely need to pick your favorite. I had a cherry bomb, and to me, it sounded like ***.

Ok so I've decided that I like the Cherry Bomb Pro. I've heard that cherry bombs are notorious for being really loud and I kinda want something that isn't too loud on ignition but I can really open up the sound and be loud when I want to.

I have a Flowmaster 40 Series and love it. It is throaty and sounds good. I am not picky and quite frankly as long as I get some good sounds, better throttle response and flow, i am happy.
