Hmmm...I'm assuming it would be locked b/c someone left the tune on their truck and then sold it?

Is it normal to find one that is unlocked, or does that not really happen? (Sorry about all the questions lately. I am just trying to catch up with you guys...pun intended)

Yes you are correct about why it would be locked.

And its normal to find them either locked or unlocked... just watch em on ebay, and make sure you ask questions if they dont have it listed as locked or unlocked.

To unlock it its like $100 to Sc for them to unlock the programmer, so take that into account when you are looking at locked units

 

What's interesting is that the dyno graph of the 08+ 4.7's looks like a roller coaster. These tuners flatten out that roller coaster graph. The power is now more linear.

I'm betting the max HP and TQ is made above 3500 RPM but below 5000 RPM. There was a pretty big dip in that RPM range. I'm sure that's where it's being made up at.

Hi , whats happen if I put this superchip for 4.7 v8 in a dakota 3.7v6 I will have a posibility tunning or I will break something?
