Place truck in 1st gear

Apply brake hard and floor the gas

Continue to apply gas while lifting slightly off of brake pedal until rear tires spin loose of rear brake control....while front brake pressure continues to hold vehicle in place... (this process should take no more than 3 seconds)

lift off brake a little more to get rears really spinning good (another 3 seconds)

Lift off brake comletely.

Alternatively, there is a process called the "neutral drop". I'll save you the repair bill and not explain how that is done.

Mine will one wheel peel all day, hoping to change that to two strips sometime before next summer.

Worst thing on a auto is the neutral drop.

the day i drove my 05 4.7 with the corporate 3.55 rear off the dealers lot, i smoked the tires down the street sideways, now with the upgrades and gears, i can smoke the tires with ease all day long

Yaaaa Billy. That neon I had took massive amounts of abuse, though.

I can guarantee I took that thing through more **** than half the members on this forum, EVER would...

Even the big lifted trucks...

The Neon’s where the most under rated cars. Dodge should had never dropped it for the Stratus. Small but roomy. Nice ridding, decent power and great MPG. Just a good package. Only down side where those ogle eyed head light that hazed over in just two years. My daughters Neon has over 150k and still going strong.
