My wife went to Publix to get some groceries and the lumbar **** broke. Any idea if the dealer will cover this?

 

they should replace the entire seat, depending on the mileage, you have the 3 year 36000 mile warrenty

I have the same/similar issue. The other week, back was sore. Went to turn the **** and it was already at max lumbar. The **** sheared off in my hand. Just waiting to take it in for a multitude of issues:

1) Lumbar ****
2) Fuel tank readings erratic after a fill up with a Check Engine Light
3) Amazingly/painfully/dangerously SLOW front power windows
4) Delamination of the 'chrome' moldings on the door panels

I have the extended warranty and a deductible, I figure they might fix everything under one claim and one deductible????

 

Well I stopped by dealer and it was all covered. They don't know if it will be an entire seat replacement or just the corkscrew. We will see.

 

Mine snapped off too, many years ago. I just glued it back on for looks.
