need help asap
Make sure your rear brake service bulletin was addressed. Can cause severe shaking due to clearance problems in the rear brakes, if I remember. Applies to many early 3G Dakotas.
Also Check
Tire PSI
Lug Nut Torque - very important. Can cause weird shaking / pulling problems
Thrown weight / out of balance
Remove the retaining clips on wheel studs, between the rim and brake discs / drums
Service manual also mentions tire runout - if you have a wobbly and/or out of round tire, the truck will shake. The tolerances are pretty small, 2.0mm or so.
The more expensive / unusual shaking problems have been reported to be tied to the torque converter, bent CV shafts or unbalanced driveshafts, but no need to panic. I'd bet money that it's one of the simple problems above.
