Default Front Frame bolts ?? (Tow Hooks Bolts)

I removed the stock bolts when I installed the tow hooks, now I am removing the tow hooks to install my Bush Bar, and I seem to have lost the original bolts to reinstall.

The Tow hook bolts are longer than the original bolts and the dealer can't get these bolts. So can I use the longer bolts for the tow hooks without any problems or do I need the shorter ones. or does anyone know what the size is for the orignial bolts. I think there M6 x 1mm (thread spacing) x 35mm (Length) can anyone confirm this is right.

Thanks.

Have you tried screwing the tow hook bolts in with the brush guard to see if they'll go in all the way? If not you could probably use some flat washers to space it out, or just go to the hardware store and match up the thread size and go shorter.

Are you selling the tow hooks? If so I'm looking for a set and may be willing to send you back my bolts if the deal is right.

I haven't tried using the longer bolts, but if I did use them and they worked I now don't have the bolts for the tow hooks if I sold them
(now incomplete) not as easy to sell.
Not sure if Im selling them or not yet though.

I use My truck everyday, so it would be hard to have it sitting there waiting for bolts to show up in the mail to bolt the frame back down.
Sorry man. mabye if I find a local Dakota owner who wants them We can do the switch at the same time.

OK not M6, there M12 x 200somthing mm long
Stopped at my Dealer at lunch and he can have them here tomorrow for me, which is awesome, means I don't have to wait for the parts forever.

Once I get it all switched over and my lights all installed I'll post pics of the New Brush Bar.
