K & N Filter Change
I've been kicking around the idea of going with a CIA system but they are a little spendy for what I'm thinking you might gain. Could be wrong.
Anyway, I just installed the K & N reusable air filter. I've got 30,000 miles on the truck (2005) and the original factory air filter was still in it. The garage where I have the oil changed must be to lazy to check the filter as it was only about 50% usable. Talk about DIRTY.
So with a 100% usable filter that is supposed to flow much better I am anxious to see how this works out.
I have noticed a much better "idle" and it seems to have gained some "grunt" also.
Going to be interesting to see if I gain any mileage. Don't care as I probably will be driving it a bit harder now.
I'll post more as I check it out.
