Default wheel question

on holloween someone slashed my tire and have found a good deal on some BFG's but the rim is a 15'' american racing wheel from a ford f150. from what i have found they are 5 x5.5 but the 15'' worries me with the disc brakes. any input?

A 15" wheel can be used because there is someone on this forum or on the other forum that has 15's installed. And they look an awful like Cragar Soft 8's. We just don't know exactly how wide the wheel is or how much backspacing it has.

Anyway, a lot of checking needs to be done because of them having problems with the Dakota brakes.

My suspicion has always been that a 15x8 or 15x10 with the proper back spacing would fit. I think it would work I just don't know for sure.

Yup. No way of knowing if they will fit over the brakes.

Some have had trouble trying to fit 15" wheels on, from what I've seen it seems like you'll be lucky to find a set that does fit. Ask the seller if they're willing to let you test fit one wheel before buying to make sure they clear, I wouldn't buy them without testing it first.
