Radio swap
Hey guys I was wondering how tuff it is to do a radio swap out in a 07 Dakota?
I havent done this kind of thing in years
I want to put in a new kenwood in and wondering if I would have trouble doing it myself or should I take it in and get it done.. I did a search in the 3rd gen Dakotas and did not see much.. Cya Slick

Well, they arent that difficult... I would get a quality kit like metra or comparable. Not the walmart cheap-o kits.
also, when your wiring it up, everything in the harness adapter will work except the Red (+12v switched power) wire. Most just go to the power outlet for that, or there is a source on the HVAC. (I tend to stay away from the HVAC wires, just seems risky to me.)
other than that, just make sure you pick up...

Antenna Adapter
(and some solder and heat shrink tubing OR crimp connectors.)
