So how do I know what axle I have?? Also, is there somewhere I can get a build sheet for my truck? I know that on a jeep forum I belong to there was a link to the jeep website where you could email the company and get one. Is there one like that for dodge??

 

You can request a build sheet from your dealer, I believe you can also do it on the dodge site. They will need your VIN# in either case.

For the rear axle the shape and number of bolts for the differential cover will tell you which one you have, here's some diagrams to help you out:
